Communication and Technology Requirements:
Communication
Communication is KEY to success in this course. To make it easy, there are numerous ways you can connect with your training team. But the best way to get an answer is to work with your Success Manager who is dedicated to your success throughout the course no matter what time of day, or whatever the issue is. You will be introduced to your Student Success Manager immediately upon registering for a course and you’ll have casual and mandatory communication that will occur with the Success Manager throughout your program. We’ve made it easy to reach out or ask for help, whether you prefer email, chatting through Slack, or using our community platform, you’re just a few clicks away from reaching anyone on our team.
Additionally, students will be able to communicate with their Training Coach or Career Coach through the same platforms as our Success Managers. Students will be given a Coach who will be assigned to them in the onboarding week and will receive more details about the coach then.
Technology
While programs like this are best completed on a computer or laptop, we know that not every student will have those tools. Our platforms are easily accessible through mobile devices such as a phone, tablet, or iPad. Those mobile devices work best when using a mobile app, so be sure to make sure that your portable device has the app vs. the web-based Learning Management System (LMS).
Internet is a must. Our courses require a good- high-quality internet connection. Zoom is how we conduct our Live Sessions, and while it’s a great platform, it does suck a lot of internet. If you can, make sure that you have an option to either connect directly with an ethernet cord or have high-speed internet as an option for your live sessions. Multiple users in your home, while you’re working, may slow down the capabilities of our LMS and your Live Sessions.
Students must also have a webcam. It’s imperative that in your Live Sessions you have face-to-face interaction with your Coach.
Another thing to think about is an external microphone, earbuds, or headset that you can use to amplify your voice when communicating with your Coach.
Schedule
Our courses don’t have “due dates” but it’s expected that you will complete your training program in no more than 8 weeks, and you’ll work in the Career Development Center for no more than 5 weeks. In order to keep that schedule, it’s recommended that you spend roughly 1 week per module. It’s recommended that you spend no more than:
1.5 Weeks for Module 1
1 Week Module 2
1.5 Weeks Module 3
1 Week Module 4
1 Week Module 5
1 Week Module 6
Leaving the remaining time to Schedule and Prep for your Industry Certification.
Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of experience do I need?
None! We take your life experience and train you alongside our high-level Career Coaches for hands-on experience, in addition to traditional textbook learning.
How long does it take to complete the training?
Our Recruiter program is 8-weeks long.
How are the live sessions organized? How do I fit them into my schedule?
We offer several different live session slots throughout the week to be as available as possible to our student base. If a time slot does not work for you, you can coordinate with your Career Coach.
Who endorses your program?
First and foremost, our graduates! 100% of our graduates have indicated that they would recommend our training to others with similar career aspirations.
What is required to earn my certification?
We simply ask for your dedication. Our program was designed to fit into your ever-changing lifestyle. Students are required to attain average grades of 70% or above on tests and assignments in order to be awarded a certificate.
When is the next start date for your program?
That depends on the program, but we have cohorts running monthly for all programming. Contact a team member today for more information.
How long does it take to get hired after getting certified?
Great question! While several factors play into getting hired, we are proud to say that 90% of our graduates have received offer letters from companies they desire within 90 days of completing our programming.
Do I need to have a college degree?
Nope. If you have one, you can use many of those skills in your work, however, the career program we offer does not require a college degree, it just requires training, skills, and talent (which we will teach you). However, our program does require solid written and verbal communication skills.
What is the typical starting salary?
On average, entry-level Recruiting positions start around $34k per year, or about $16/hour.
Am I able to do these positions while raising my family?
Absolutely! Our goal is to help each of our students find a career that fits into their lifestyle. We will never push a student toward a specific job offer. We are here to guide you in finding a fit that can work into your life.
I work full time already, will I be able to fit this training into my schedule?
Absolutely! Our courses were built to fit into your already hectic schedule. We recommend spending as little as 1-2 hours per day on the coursework to stay within the average timeline.
